Korean actor Jang Keun-suk has enjoyed the very first episode of his new TV series “Bel Ami” with his die-hard fans.
Jang held an event to share the first episode of KBS’s new romantic comedy series “Bel Ami” aired Wednesday night at Seoul’s Grand Hayatt Hotel, his promoter YTree Media said on Thursday.
Celebrating his comeback to the small screen one year after KBS’s melodrama “Love Rain,” the event was joined by 1,200 fans formed of Korean, Chinese and Japanese fans of Jang.
After watching the first episode all together, the Hallyu star also joined the Q&A session and took a commemorative photo together, moving fans with a surprise gift of roses.
“My heart flutters since it is my first time to share the premiere of my dramas with fans, family members and friends. I’ll prove myself improving with my character in ‘Bel Ami’,” Jang was quoted as saying.
“Bel Ami,” co-starring IU, Han Chae-young and Lee Jang-woo, centers on Dokgo Ma-tae (Jang), the prettiest boy in the world, who wants to gain money and power by using his beauty.
