TVXQ! member Max Changmin has been cast as the main character to a drama by cable music channel Mnet.

A press release by Mnet on Wednesday stated that Max will play a webtoon writer named Min-woo in the four-part series named “Mimi” set to show on Fridays starting February 21.

“Mimi” will be about the first love between a man and woman whose fates have been reversed beyond time and space.

Max’s character Min-woo will be a webtoon writer who seeks out his long lost first love, and to play the role, Max will go between being a 28-year-old and 18-year-old Min-woo.

“It’s not easy to go back and forth between being a 28-year-old and 18-year-old that have such different memories and sensitivities but I’m having fun,” Max was quoted as saying of his role.

Although one of the top Korean singers in the country with a 10-year career, Max has experience acting in some movies and dramas. He was the main male lead for drama “Paradise Farm” in 2011.
