‘Fantastic Duo’ continued his popularity streak from Korea to get great viewer ratings in their Spanish version as well.

‘Fantastic Duo’ that is broadcasted on Spain’s terrestrial TV channel, TVE hit a viewer rating of 10.3% on June 7 (local time). In Spain, getting a viewer rating of over 10% at a prime time zone (11 p.m.) during a weekday is considered a ‘super hit’.

After continuously getting a viewer rating of 10% after a rating of 9.7% on their first episode, the Spanish version of ‘Fantastic Duo’ broke the ‘10% wall’ after its 5th episode on June 7 to truly become the ‘hot broadcast program’ in Spain. TVE said, “The viewer rating rose 27 % from the average viewer rate this year and it showed an increase in all target audiences except those in the age group of 4 to 12.” Through this, TVE expressed their satisfaction in how well the program was doing.

Earlier on June 4, the Korean version of ‘Fantastic Duo 2’ that airs on SBS recorded the highest viewer rating of 11.2% per minute due to the appearance of ‘PsyU’ (Psy and IU). The program’s season 2 video clips also received ‘10 million playbacks’ online to stir speculation on online and offline channels. While ‘Fantastic Duo’ emerges as the ‘mainstream entertainment program’ through its great viewer ratings in Korea and Spain, there are a lot of expectations in how it will do well in the future.

On the other hand, the ‘Fantastic Duo 2’ episode that aired on June 11 carried out a ‘Rock vs. Ballad battle’. Singers Boohwal and Kim Yeon Woo were the main appearances along with other special guests to make it an exciting episode. Kim Yeon Woo performed in different name called ‘Kim Yeon Woo line’ with B1A4’s San Deul and SHINee’s Onew, Lee Seok Hoon, and Chang Min. On the other hand, Boohwal performed with legendary vocal artists against ‘Kim Yeon Woo Line’. This episode aired at 6:25 p.m. on June 11.
