BTS has been selected by US Weekly as one of the most influential celebrities on social media.

The U.S. based magazine US Weekly published an article titled “The Most Influential Celebrities on Social Media” on the 20th (local date), which listed and ranked 15 prominent celebrities.

Coming in at no. 14, BTS were the only celebrities from Asia to make the list. Other famous names on the list included Beyonce at no. 1, Ariana Grande at no. 2, current U.S. president Donald Trump at no. 6, and former U.S. president Barack Obama at no. 12.

According to US Weekly, “K-Pop group BTS topped Billboard’s Social 50 chart for over 30 weeks in a row in 2017, which helped them win the award for Top Social Artist at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.” The magazine went on to say, “[BTS] also won the global award for influence on social media at the 9th Shorty Awards in April 2017.”

BTS recently performed in Taiwan on Oct. 21-22 for their 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour.
