Actress Shin Eun Soo has expressed her thoughts and feelings on taking on a new challenge of hosting a live music program.
Shin Eun Soo has been selected as one of the main MCs of SBS’s Inkigayo, which means she will be in charge of hosting duties alongside Mingyu from the group SEVENTEEN.
The young actress expressed her feelings prior to her first live show on the 17th through her agency, JYP Entertainment, which read: “It is so meaningful and such an honor to be chosen as an MC of Inkigayo, which is a show that I’ve always watched and enjoyed.”
“I’m apprehensive since this is my first time hosting a live show. I plan to bring a bright and lively energy to the show, as fitting for a teenager,” she added. “I’ll introduce the viewers to good music by doing a solid job as a host.”
Since making her acting debut alongside Gang Dong Won in the 2016 film Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned, Shin Eun Soo has continued to show off her impressive acting chops in other roles. She established a stronger presence in the acting world last year after winning the Best Child Actress award at the 37th MBC Drama Awards for her acting in the TV drama, Bad Papa.
It was also recently reported that Shin Eun Soo had been cast for the film Gibang Bachelor (working title), which put the actress in a league of her own among teenage actors.
Viewers can catch Shin Eun Soo on Inkigayo every Sunday at 3:50 p.m. (KST).
