The album’s title track “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey also topped the iTunes Top Songs charts in 67 countries, including the US, Canada, Russia, Brazil, Singapore, India, and more.

In addition to “Boy With Luv” coming in at No. 1 on the US iTunes Top Songs chart, the rest of the tracks on the EP also made it into the top 10, with “Make It Right” at No. 3, “HOME” at No. 4, “Mikrokosmos” at No. 5, “Intro: Persona” at No. 6, “Dionysus” at No. 7, and “Jamais Vu” at No. 8.

Not only did “Boy With Luv” sweep 9 domestic streaming sites (Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Genie, Naver Music, Soribada, FLO, Vibe, Olleh Music) upon the release of MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA on April 12 at 6 p.m. (KST), the entire album ranked on the charts in succession. The music video for the title song, which was released at the same time as the song, racked up 10 million views in 2 hours and 52 minutes and 20 million views in 5 hours and 2 minutes on YouTube, making it the fastest K-pop video to do so.

BTS will be performing their new single in front of a live audience for the first time on NBC’s SNL on April 13 (local time).
