Actor Ji Chang Wook, who was discharged from the military today (April 27), has expressed his determination to return to the world of acting.
Ji Chang Wook was officially discharged from the 5th Artillery Brigade in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province at 8:30 a.m. today after completing his mandatory military service.
“It hasn’t sunken in yet… I want to eat a delicious meal,” said Ji Chang Wook.
He added, “I got to share the same stage with Kang Ha Neul for the first time in 10 years. I also got closer to Sunggyu through the musical. Thanks to Onew, Kim Min Ho, Ko Eun Sung, and my other friends, my time in the military was both meaningful and comfortable. I have a lot of friends that I’m really grateful for.”
Ji Chang Wook reportedly received casting offers even before being officially discharged. The actor has been approached to star in a TV drama directed by Jang Jin titled, City of Stars, and a new tvN drama titled, Melting Me.
“I want to work out hard, lose weight, and act in a good project. I’m worried that I might get nervous in front of the camera after not having been in front of one for a long time,” remarked the actor.
Ji Chang Wook left a chipper parting remark for the crowd: “I’ve finally been discharged. I’ll be greeting you again with even better projects in the future, so please look forward to it.”
