BTS’s label, Big Hit Entertainment, announced on July 14 that the K-pop idol group would become the first foreign act to perform a stadium concert in Saudi Arabia.

The added Saudi Arabian tour date for the LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF tour was announced at 6 p.m. via BTS’s official website, fan cafe, and Twitter.

According to the announcement, BTS will be performing at King Fahd International Stadium in the Saudi Arabian capital city of Riyadh on October 11 (local time).

BTS will become the first foreign act to headline their own concert in a large-capacity Saudi Arabian stadium.

After the concert in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, BTS’s stadium tour will have opened a total of 17 concerts in 9 cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, Newark, São Paulo, London, Paris, Osaka, and Shizuoka.

Through the LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF tour, BTS also became the first Korean musical act to sell out two headlining shows at the Wembley Stadium in London. The septet’s shows in North America, Europe, and Brazil landed them at the top of the Billboard Boxscore chart and Pollstar’s LIVE75 chart, proving the group’s global ticket-selling power.

BTS recently wrapped up the Japanese leg of their LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF tour after their performance at the Shizuoka Ecopa Stadium in Japan on July 14.
