BTS surpasses 600 million views on YouTube with ‘FAKE LOVE’ MV / Photo: Big Hit Entertainment

The music video for “FAKE LOVE,” the title track from BTS’s third studio album Love Yourself: Tear, has surpassed 600 million views. 

The “FAKE LOVE” music video, which dropped in May of last year, reportedly hit the milestone on YouTube on October 12 at 4:19 p.m. 

This makes the “FAKE LOVE” video the third music video from BTS to exceed 600 million views, following “DNA” which currently has more than 800 million views, and “FIRE,” which also has over 600 million. 

Between the intense performances given by the group while switching between sets, and the sophisticated visual style, the music video for “FAKE LOVE” is a feast for the eyes. 

Previously, “FAKE LOVE” made it to No. 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, and the Love Yourself: Tear album became the first album by a Korean artist to top Billboard’s main albums chart, the Billboard 200. 

“FAKE LOVE” was also certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), demonstrating the popularity of the single worldwide.

In addition, the music videos for “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix),” “IDOL,” “DOPE,” “Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey),” and “Blood Sweat & Tears” have surpassed 500 million views,” “Save ME” has surpassed 400 million, “Not Today” and “Boy In Luv” have surpassed 300 million,  “Spring Day” and “War of Hormone” have surpassed 200 million, and “I NEED U,” “Danger,” “Just One Day,” “We Are Bulletproof Pt.2,” “RUN,” “Serendipity,” “Singularity,” and “No More Dream” have surpassed 100 million views.
