Singer and actor Sulli (real name Choi Jin Ri) was found dead at her residence today. 

According to the Seongnam Sujeong Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, a report was filed by Sulli’s manager at around 3:21 p.m., after the manager had discovered her body on the second floor of her residence in Seongnam. It was reported that Sulli’s manager decided to visit the entertainer’s home after being unable to reach her following their last phone call at around 6:30 p.m. on the previous day. 

Police have reported that they are investigating the death as a suspected suicide. 

Sulli’s label, SM Entertainment, could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.

Sulli made her singing debut with the K-pop group f(x) in 2009. She later left the group in 2015 to turn her attention to her acting career. The entertainer recently starred as a host for JTBC2’s Night of Hate Comments, where she received attention for her raw honesty.
