JYP Entertainment (JYPE) is implementing security measures in light of the threats to stalk TWICE’s Nayeon that were posted online.

JYPE released a statement on the 9th via the company’s official website that read: “We are fully aware of the comments suggestive of stalking behavior that have recently been spreading on social media and online communities. We are looking into all available legal measures, and we plan on taking security precautions for the artist in question.”

“We ask that fans actively send in reports related to the issue, and we will take the best course of action to ensure the safety of our artist,” the company added.

Previously, a man from overseas had caused a controversy by making false claims about being in a relationship with Nayeon and posting videos that made it appear as if he were stalking the idol singer.
