Rain and Zico are currently considering appearing on I-LAND, an audition program and joint project between Big Hit Entertainment and CJ ENM.
A source from Mnet revealed on the 12th that “Rain and Zico are positively considering the possibility of appearing on I-LAND as judges and mentors.”
I-LAND, which is being billed as an observational reality show that will show the process that goes into creating the next generation of K-pop artists, is being headed by the man behind BTS and Big Hit Entertainment, Bang Si Hyuk.
Rain, who made his debut with the song “Bad Guy,” achieved global star status by releasing a slew of hit songs, such as “How to Avoid the Sun,” “It’s Raining,” and “Rainism.” Zico, who debuted with the boy band Block B, has received recognition for being a skilled rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer.
I-LAND is scheduled to premiere this coming June.
