Actress Lee Yeon Hee

Actress Lee Yeon Hee will be tying the knot this summer.

The actress made the announcement herself via a handwritten letter that was posted to her official fan cafe on May 15.

“It makes my heart heavy to think about the many people who have been faced with difficult times recently,” the letter began. “I’ve met someone I want to spend my life with, and we will be getting married. On June 2, we will be having a small ceremony with our parents and close friends in attendance.”

She continued, “As these are times when caution needs to be exercised, we will be holding a simple wedding ceremony as we usher in a new chapter of our lives.” Yeon Hee also made sure to express her gratitude for her fans and said, “I’m always thankful for everyone who has continuously cheered me on since my debut.”

“I will repay [my fans] while living as a good actor and a happy person. I’ll be greeting you all again with good projects after the ceremony,” promised Yeon Hee.

The actress’s management agency, SM Entertainment, stated, “Lee Yeon Hee has met someone precious to her and will be getting married. As her fiancé is not a public figure, they are planning on having a small wedding on June 2 with family and close friends.” The company went on to say, “In consideration of her husband-to-be and the couple’s families, information regarding the venue and wedding details will be kept private.”

“Yeon Hee will continue to be involved in good projects as an actor in the future. We hope that many send their blessings as she gets ready to embark on a new chapter,” they added.
