BTS is gearing up to give the debut performance of their new song, “Dynamite.”
The septet is scheduled to perform their newest hit song at 9 a.m. on August 31 (KST) at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards, which is being held in Los Angeles.
BTS raised everyone’s expectations for the performance by posting photos on their official social media of the group in a practice room and in rehearsals.
The group made more VMA news by being honored with two VMAs: the Best K-pop award and the Best Group award. This marks the second year in a row that BTS has taken home the award for Best Group. “Shout out to the ARMY and MTV for giving us this award two years in a row,” said group leader RM during their acceptance speech. Suga went on to add, “We will keep trying to make music that can comfort you.”
BTS has been nominated for four categories in this year’s VMAs: Best Pop, Best Group, Best K-pop, and Best Choreography.
