Girl group CLC’s global popularity is growing quickly, as demonstrated by their recent success on numerous charts around the world.

The group’s newest single, “Helicopter,” which dropped on August 2, has topped the iTunes Top Songs charts in 10 regions: New Zealand, Mongolia, Bahrain, Bolivia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Estonia, Chile, and Cambodia. Additionally, the song has landed at the No. 4 spot on the iTunes Worldwide Songs chart. 

The group has also piqued the curiosities of K-pop fans in China. CLC was the fifth most-searched keyword on the Chinese video sharing website, Bilibili, and the music video for “Helicopter” was a trending topic on Weibo. 

The “Helicopter” music video also became the group’s fastest MV to surpass 10 million views on YouTube by reaching the milestone within approximately 36 hours of its release.

Belonging to the trap pop and EDM powerhouse genres, “Helicopter” is a song that illustrates CLC’s journey to discovering the answer to where their future lies. The song’s hope-filled lyrics and its dynamic, jaw-dropping performance has made “Helicopter” a smash hit for the group. 

On August 4, CLC performed “Helicopter” during their appearance on KBS 2TV’s music program, Music Bank.
