It’s official. The group ENHYPEN will be making its debut next month.

According to a report published by Ten Asia on the 19th, it has been confirmed that ENHYPEN (Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, NI-KI) will be debuting at the end of November.

ENHYPEN is seven-member group that is the first team to come out of Belift Lab – a joint venture established by CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment in March 2019 to discover next-generation idols. The group was formed through the Mnet survival reality show, I-Land.

Much like a hyphen that connects different words to create words with new meanings, the name “ENHYPEN” signifies the seven different members discovering each other and growing as they become linked to one another. It also captures the group’s determination to connect people and worlds through music.

As a reality program showing the process of creating next-generation K-pop artists, I-LAND combined the content production capabilities of CJ ENM with Big Hit co-Ceo Bang Si Hyuk’s artist-producing know-how. The program drew the attention of K-pop fans around the world for its unique approach and for showing various types of collaborations and competitions between the contestants.

Even before their debut, ENHYPEN set unprecedented records and announced themselves to the world as the next big thing in K-pop.

ENHYPEN established themselves as the hottest new group by surpassing 1.1 million followers on Twitter, 1.26 million followers on Instagram, and more than 994,000 subscribers on YouTube. Within a week of opening their TikTok account, the group surpassed one million followers, and they’ve long since garnered more than three million members on their official Weverse account.

ENHYPEN, who has gained a massive following even before releasing a single song, is seen by many as the next big group to follow in the footsteps of Big Hit’s boy groups, BTS and TXT, and fans around the globe are eagerly waiting for the group’s debut.
