Max Changmin of TVXQ finally tied the knot with his girlfriend on the 25th.
Although the wedding was initially planned for September 5, the ceremony ended up being postponed due to the spread of COVID-19.
On June 12, Max Changmin announced that he would be getting married to his non-celebrity girlfriend. In a handwritten letter addressed to his fans, he revealed that he was “in a relationship,” and that he and his partner “[had] built trust and maintained a good relationship, and [they] naturally came to the decision to share [their] lives with each other.”
He added, “It’s been about 17 years since I debuted as a singer. The clumsy and naive high school student from back then has already become a man in his mid 30s. I’ve lived nearly half of my life as a member of TVXQ. There was even a time when U-Know Yunho, myself, and our fans didn’t know what the future held for TVXQ, but I was able to grow into who I am now thanks to our fans standing by our side and sending us love.”
“I believe that the path I intend to set out on now requires more responsibility than the road that I’ve traveled on. For that reason, I promise to do my best in every moment and with everything that comes my way. As the head of a household and Max Changmin of TVXQ, I intend to repay all those who have rooted for and encouraged me.”
