K-pop songwriting duo Black Eyed Pilseung’s (Choi Kyu Sung and Rado) first self-produced girl group, STAYC, left a strong impression on stage with their colorful charm.
On the episode of SBS’s Inkigayo that aired on November 15, STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J) performed their title song “SO BAD” off of their first digital single album, Star To A Young Culture.
STAYC immediately caught the attention of viewers with their kitschy outfits, as well as with their visuals and personalities that could make any one of them the center member.
On stage, the group showed off their powerful dance and solid vocal skills as a part of a successful performance that stole the hearts of everyone watching.
STAYC’s title track, “SO BAD,” was written, composed, and produced by Black Eyed Pilseung and Jeon Gun. The lyrics describe the confidence of teenagers to express what is in their hearts, even though they may be clumsy in love at first. The song has been well-received and has landed in the upper half of the real-time charts of the country’s main music sites.
Meanwhile, STAYC is expected to continue to actively promote their debut album on the stages of various music programs.
