TWICE made a surprise announcement that they will be dropping a new single titled “CRY FOR ME” on December 18. 

Leading up to the official release of “CRY FOR ME” on the 18th, teasers for the song will start to be launched on the 14th.

TWICE performed “MORE & MORE,” the group’s single that was released in June, “I CAN’T STOP ME,” which came out in October, and their unreleased single, “CRY FOR ME,” at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). 

The members of TWICE captivated fans from all over the world with their enchanting expressions and performance of “CRY FOR ME,” which was unveiled for the first time at the 2020 MAMAs.  

As of 1 p.m. KST on December 11, the stage performance of TWICE’s new song had surpassed 6.9 million views on Mnet’s official YouTube channel, Mnet K-POP, making it the most clicked-on performance from the 2020 MAMAs. 

“CRY FOR ME” expresses the confusion that arises from oscillating between love and hate, and promises to deliver a different side and charm to TWICE that has yet to be seen.
