Chungha has been released from quarantine after previously testing positive for COVID-19.

The solo singer’s label, MNH Entertainment, revealed on the 21st that “Chungha was released from COVID-19 quarantine on December 18.”

“For 11 days, from the time she was confirmed to have tested positive on December 7 to Friday, December 18, Chungha stayed at a treatment center where she was fully committed to receiving treatment. Chungha, who was an asymptomatic positive case, received a notification on December 18 that she had been found to be non-contagious and was being released from quarantine. She returned to her residence on that day, and she has been staying there ever since,” explained MNH.

The label added, “As the spread of COVID-19 has become more severe, Chungha has temporarily suspended all official promotions, and will instead be prioritizing health and safety while directing her attention to hygiene.”

Chungha was confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19 on December 7, after which she canceled all promotional activities and focused on her treatment. The release of her upcoming album has also been postponed.
