The music video for Rain’s new single, “Switch to Me (duet with JYP),” has dropped.

The MV for Rain’s duet with JYP was released on December 31 at 6 p.m. (KST) via Rain’s official YouTube channel (RAIN’s Official Channel). The music video, which tells an intriguing story of the two K-pop legends fighting over one woman, boasts a scale that befits the unprecedented collaboration.

The fiery showdown begins with the appearance of a woman (played by Hansel) who immediately catches the attention of Rain and JYP. From the slick sports car to the white horse and flashy CG, the music video offers one spectacle after another. There are also laugh-inducing moments when the two men engage in a fierce competition and use every possible means to interrupt each other’s dates with the beautiful woman.

One of the music video’s highlights was singer and record producer PSY’s cameo. The dumbstruck expressions on Rain and JYP’s faces as they realize that the woman they had their eyes on chose PSY at the end, received an enthusiastic response from viewers.

From the addictive melody to the two dancing maestros absolutely killing the choreography, the song and music video are a tour de force that more than live up to the expectations we had for the legendary duo.

Rain and JYP gave their first performance of “Switch to Me” at the 2020 MBC Gayo Daejaejeon: THE MOMENT, which aired live on December 31. The duo is also scheduled to make an appearance on KBS’s AM Plaza on January 1.
