K-pop soloists Rain and Chung Ha may be joining hands for a future project, according to sources.
A representative from Rain’s record label, Sublime Artist Agency, informed Ten Asia on the 5th that the two artists “are currently in talks to do a collaboration.”
Previously, Rain hinted on social media that he might be doing a collaboration with a female dance music singer.
In an Instagram post from January 26, Rain wrote, “Because all of you asked for a collaboration with JYP, I was able to make RAIN X JYP happen and even reach No. 1. In celebration of reaching 1M subscribers on my SeasonBSeason channel, many of you asked for a collaboration with a female artist. As a thank you to all my loyal ggurokis, I will be collaborating with whoever you ask for! BUT! The female artist needs to be a dance artist!”
As a result, Chung Ha became a strong candidate for the collab, and now fans of the two singers are no doubt waiting with bated breath to see if Rain and Chung Ha will stand on stage together.
Rain actively promoted his duet song with JYP titled “Switch to Me” at the beginning of the year, following the song’s release on December 31, 2020. Chung Ha is expected to drop her first full album, Querencia, on February 15.
