Korean actor Lee Jong-suk will return to the small screen as a college student in an episode for KBS’ drama special, his agency Wellmade StarM announced in a press release Friday.

Wellmade said in the statement that Lee will take on the role of an all-around good guy majoring in engineering named Yoon Jong-hyuk in KBS’ one-act drama “When I was Most Beautiful” (translated title), which is set to air on August 26.

In “Beautiful,” Lee’s character Yoon will learn the true meaning of love by meeting Lee Shin-ae, while he nurses his sick girlfriend.

“I am extremely excited that I get to star in such a great project and I hope that I can show how much I have grown as an actor with my portrayal of Yoon,” Lee said in the press statement.

The model-turned-actor first started out in the business by playing Lee Woo-hyun in SBS’ TV series “Princess Prosecutor” in 2010. He later received more spotlight through his role in the popular drama “Secret Garden” (SBS, 2011).

In the meantime, Lee is currently promoting his aviation film “R2B: Return to Base,” which co-stars Rain, that opened in local theaters on August 15.
