[INTERVIEW] Teen Top “Europe tour was opportunity to realize the power of K-pop“ - Part. 1It’s been quite a while since you were active in Korea. How do you feel about your comeback?

C.A.P: It’s really been a long time. We finally released our first studio album in two years and seven months. As it is a full-track album, I’m more nervous than usual. We put our best efforts into this album, so I’ll really appreciate your support.

[INTERVIEW] Teen Top “Europe tour was opportunity to realize the power of K-pop“ - Part. 1You had a successful five-city European tour, a first for a Korean idol group. How were the responses from the local fans and what did you learn from it?

Chunji: It was amazing to see European fans cheering for us. It felt wonderful that European fans were singing along to our songs in Korean. We lacked concert experiences before, so we learned how to interact with fans through our dances and songs from the European tour.

Niel: I was glad and proud to mark the first Europe tour for a Korean idol band. It was another opportunity to realize the power of K-pop.

[INTERVIEW] Teen Top “Europe tour was opportunity to realize the power of K-pop“ - Part. 1Tell us about your new album.

C.A.P: Since this is our first full-length album, we titled it “No. 1” with a great ambition to be the No. 1 this year.

[INTERVIEW] Teen Top “Europe tour was opportunity to realize the power of K-pop“ - Part. 1Do you have a specific track that you feel attached to?

Ricky: There is a song named “Why.” The song highlights our distinctive individualities and it has cute feelings just like us, so I enjoy listening to it.

Chunji: The “No. 1” album contains a total of 12 tracks and there aren`t many ballad songs. So my favorite song is “Missing You,” and I listen to it all the time.

Niel:I love the song “So Sweet.” It makes me excited and dance without hesitation, literally makes me happy. That’s why I like it the most.

Changjo: “Stop Girl” is my favorite. It is dreamlike, and it`s the first song where I sang the chorus part. So it’s the most memorable one for me.

C.A.P: I like “Stop Girl” the most, also. It is an intimate song and it would be nice to listen to it at home alone on a rainy day.
L. Joe: It’s “Mr. Bang.” I feel attached to the song because it’s the first hip-hop tune for Teen Top.

Changjo: It’s the story about men whocan’t get out of of their mindslovelyladies. That typeseems to be many guys` “Miss Right.” It is avery addictive song. Once you listen to it, you’ll see why.

[INTERVIEW] Teen Top “Europe tour was opportunity to realize the power of K-pop“ - Part. 1The song was produced by Brave Brothers. What was it like working with him?

Niel:We’ve worked on a lot of songs with him before, so I feel that we work in perfect harmony. He is also tender and nice to us, which makes him more like an older brother next door. We appreciate his help a lot.
