TVXQ! Max Changmin to Vie with Emcee Kang Ho-dong

Top boy group TVXQ! Member Max Changmin is revving up to make his
debut as an emcee on a TV variety show next year.

The “Humanoids” singer is to co-host a forthcoming variety show
with popular emcee Kang Ho-dong next year, Korean news agency Yonhap News
reported Monday.

The singer-actor has guested on numerous variety shows in his nine
years singing career but the so far unscheduled show is his first as a regualr
host.

Max Changmin, whose real name is Shim Changmin, made his debut in
the five-member boy band TVXQ! in 2004 and have cemented his name as one of the
top idol stars in Korea even after the group’s split in 2009.

Max Changmin and U-know Yunho continued their acitivites at SM and
released the fifth album “Keep Your Head Down” in January 2011 when Max also
took his first lead role in SBS series “Paradise Farm.”

The group dropped their sixth full-length album “Catch Me” in
September this year and drew in 20,000 to their first concert for their world
tour “TVXQ! LIVE WORLD TOUR `Catch Me` in SEOUL” last month.
