K-pop queen Lee Hyori has given fans a glimpse to her forthcoming record to be released in three weeks.
A teaser video to Lee’s pre-released tune “Miss Korea” was released via online music distribution websites and her agency B2M Entertainment’s official YouTube channel on Thursday at noon, Korea time, the agency said in a statement the same day.
In the 33-second black and white clip, Lee turned a beauty pageant queen from the ’80s, exuding the retro mood she had pursued in teaser videos released last week and a fashion music film with VOGUE Korea.
“Miss Korea,” the tune with brass band sounds, is composed and written by Lee, considered the ultimate Korean fashion icon who recently made an unconventional move to animal lover and an environmentalist.
The full tracks and the music video of the not-yet-unveiled title tune from Lee’s upcoming fifth album will be available online on the midday of May 6, Korea time. Hard copies will hit shelves on May 21.
