Some of the most celebrated K-pop idols will come together in Thailand next month.
Boy bands U-KISS, MBLAQ, B1A4 and girl group 4minute are set to heat up the “KOREAN MUSIC SENSATION VOL.1,” which will be held at Bangkok’s Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani on July 13, U-KISS’ official website showed Monday.
The big arena is one of the favorite venues for K-pop artists, and was included as the Thai leg for 2PM’s Asia tour last February, Big Bang’s world tour last October and most recently, CNBLUE’s first world tour last month.
The next edition of “KOREAN MUSIC SENSATION” will probably be held on September 7 with three to four Korean idols, while the contractors are fine-tuning the details at this moment in Bangkok, an official with the concert’s organizer KBS Media told TenAsia over the phone.
U-KISS’s most recent visit to the country were last October for “Smile Thailand!,” the overseas show of Mnet’s live music show “M! CountDown,” also featuring big name K-pop stars Super Junior, KARA, INFINITE, BEAST, FTIsland, SISTAR, B.A.P, A PINK and Tasty.
This March, MBLAQ, 4minute and B1A4 had heated up the country for “2013 MBC Korean Music Wave in Bangkok,” co-starring a whooping number of 18 K-pop idols including 2NE1, SISTAR, miss A, A PINK, BEAST, SHINee, FTIsland, INFINITE, EXO-K, B.A.P and NU’EST.
