Big Bang’s Seungri will hit a Japanese TV show every Saturday night with his skilled Japanese and inborn wit.

Seungri, whose Japanese stage name is V. I, has been confirmed to make regular appearances on Japanese cable channel MUSIC ON! TV’s new variety talk show “Count Down E.T,” set to premiere on July 20 at 8 p.m. JST, Big Bang’s official Japanese website showed Thursday.

Of the two-hour show, the idol star will helm a segment translated into “Men’s Finger Food” where he makes easy food for everyone.

Hosted by famed TV pair Oriental Radio, the prime time TV show will also deliver the newest songs and entertainment news live with music artists and producers on the set with the theme of a pub.

Seungri expanded his career successfully onto Japanese TV last year, starring in Fuji TV’s music variety show “Sakigake! Ongaku bangjuke eight” [in Romanized Japanese] as a special emcee and hosted his self-titled reality show on Space Shower TV Plus.
