K-pop girl power 2NE1 swept up three wins on televised music shows over the weekend while Apink also won a trophy, their first since their debut in 2011.

2NE1’s reggae tune “Falling In Love” was chosen as the No. 1 song on three major music shows during the third week of July — namely Mnet’s “M! CountDown,”SBS’s “Inkigayo” and MBC’s “Music Core.”

After 2NE1 nabbed the trophy on SBS’s “Inkigayo” on Sunday, Dara thanked YG’s producer Yanggoon and composer Teddy. Bom happily took the microphone as well and said, “I wanted to tell my fans that we really love them.”

Then Kwanghee, member of boy band ZE:A and also a host of the show, popped out and did a wavy dance while singing “Falling In Love.”

Although last week’s “M! CountDown” was cancelled due to Mnet’s award ceremony “20’s Choice,” the girls still beat out Apink’s “NoNoNo” and took home the trophy for first place on the show.

On the other hand, Apink proudly nabbed their first trophy on KBS’s “Music Bank,” edging out K-pop group Jewelry’s new tune “Hot&Cold.”

Apink member Park Cho Rong said in tears, “We still have a long way to go but thank you for giving us a big award.”

As Park couldn’t finish her sentence, Yoon Bo Mi took the microphone and said, “I want to thank our fans who have supported us.”
