K-pop artists including BEAST, f(x), and Girl’s Day will perform at a concert aimed at promoting world peace next month.
The three teams, as well as actors Choi Min-soo and Ahn Sung-ki, were listed in the first line-up of celebrities taking part in a concert set to take place free of charge at the Imjingak:Pyeonghoa-nuri Park near the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on August 3, an official with the show’s director and singer Kim Jang-hoon said on Tuesday.
The second line-up will be revealed during a press conference for the concert tomorrow and will include around ten artists from around the world. A third line-up will be announced as well although the artists have yet to be decided.
Kim will also mention the relationship between North and South Korea during the press conference, said the official.
“Kim has been in contact with an art group in North Korea to show the concert is truly about peace so he will brief on the process and result of it tomorrow as well,” the official explained.
