K-pop star Kim Junsu of JYJ has been spotted at the backstage of his upcoming musical “Das Musical ELISABETH” with his counterpart Oak Joo-hyun.
On Wednesday, Oak posted on her Twitter account a photo of herself and Kim at the backstage of the popular musical, which opened its curtain at Seoul Arts Center’s Opera House last Friday.
“I express my deep appreciation to the audiences who filled up the Wednesday afternoon show… among those precious audiences, there was this cool young man,” said the heroine with joy.
The two stars are taking on the leading roles of “Das Musical ELISABETH” for the second year this year, with Oak as Empress Elizabeth and Kim as Der Tod, who represents Death. The musical had brought him and Oak top prizes at the 18th Korean Musical Awards last year.
Junsu will appear in his sold-out shows for the big-scale musical starting with the evening performance on August 14.
In the meantime, the idol-turned-artist is currently working hard on his upcoming Seoul concerts of “XIA 2ND ASIA TOUR CONCERT INCREDIBLE” set to take place this weekend and his two Busan shows next weekend.
