K-pop boy band Big Bang’s youngest member Seungri will make an appearance in a Japanese variety music show, his agency said on Wednesday.

An official with YG Entertainment told TenAsia over the phone that Seungri, whose Japanese stage name is V. I, will be a special host on broadcaster Fuji TV’s music show “Sakigake! Ongaku bangjuke eight” [in Romanized Japanese] following his first appearance in the show last year.

He is already making regular appearances on Japanese cable channel MUSIC ON! TV’s new variety talk show “Count Down E.T,” which premiered on July 20.

Seungri, who released his first Korean solo mini-album in 2011, is revving up for his comeback in the K-pop scene with his second mini-album. He will resume his activities in the country after dropping his second self-produced EP on August 19.

Seungri will also roll out his first solo album in Japan on September 25.
