Actor Ju Ji-hoon and girl group T-ara member Eunjung will host the opening ceremony of Jecheon International Music & Film Festival [JIMFF] next week.
The two talents will host the opening ceremony for this year’s JIMFF and sing a famous duet tune “Falling Slowly,” the mega hit soundtrack to Irish music film “Once,” at the Outdoor Theater at Cheongpung Lake next Wednesday night, JIMFF said through a press release Thursday.
During the opening ceremony, Korean film music director Lee Dong-jun of hit films “Tae Guk Gi: Brotherhood of War” and “Miracle in Cell No. 7” will lead re-arranged performances for his previous works with vocal group Uangel Voice and soprano singer Cho Soo-jin.
Nicknamed Korea’s answer to Hans Zimmer, Lee has also been chosen as the winner of the 2013 Jecheon Film Music Honorary Award and will be honored with a hand printing session the following day.
Set in the lakeside city of Jecheon, the ninth festivity of film and music will screen a total of 95 films and hold performances of 40 musical teams from August 14 to 19 this year.
