Korean actor Ha Jung-woo‘s thriller film “The Terror, LIVE” will meet moviegoers in the North America from this weekend.

“The Terror, LIVE”  is set to open at 25 screens in seven cities of North America, starting with Los Angeles’ CGV theaters this Friday, an official with the film’s distributor Lotte Entertainment told TenAsia over the phone Thursday.

The film will then jump to further theaters located in New York, Atlanta, Seattle, Las Vegas in the United States and Vancouver, Toronto in Canada.

The official added that they will consider whether to open the movie in more theaters or in more cities in the region after they see the box office from the confirmed 25 screens.

The breathtaking film follows TV news anchor Yoon Young-ha (Ha) who accidentally takes live broadcast of terrorist who exploded a bridge on Seoul’s Han River and made a further threat including Yoon’s own life.

After it hit the Korean theaters on August 1, the film is fairing well as grabbing 2.5 million moviegoer in eight days of its release.
