Korean actor Choi Woo-shik is turning into a firefighter through a reality TV show next month.
Choi has confirmed his appearance on the pilot episode of SBS variety show “A Heart Beats” (translated title), set to hit the airwaves in two parts early September, his agency JYP Entertainment said through a press release Saturday.
Starting tomorrow until Sunday, the 25-year-old actor will stay in a camp for training and experience a rescue team at a fire fighting school in the southern city of Busan, a JYP official explained.
Co-starring actors Park Ki-woong, Cho Dong-hyuk and actress Jeon Hye-bin, “A Heart Beats” will bring right sense of safety and the true value of life through the process of how celebrities become firemen.
The upcoming pilot show is Choi’s first TV show appearance in his two and half years’ career, including TV series “The Duo,” “Deep Rooted Tree,” “Rooftop Prince,” “TEN 2” and most recently, hit film “Secretly Greatly.”
