Korean boy group Big Bang’s Seungri disclosed a big change he went through in preparation for his upcoming second mini-album “LET’S TALK ABOUT LOVE.”
The artist uploaded a post on his official Facebook account yesterday, including a confession that his courage for music had been lost, feeling small by works of his talented teammates and even thinking about changing his career.
Seungri went on to express his gratitude for Yang Hyun-suk, the chief producer of his agency YG Entertainment. Seungri said that he could change his mind after a meaningful conversation with Yang at his office a year ago after the idol star wrapped up activity as TV personality in Japan.
“Yang is the one who brought me into YG and team Big Bang. He made me a real man, teaching me as a boss and a teacher showing high expectation on my music. He encouraged me to put energy I spend hanging around with my friends into my music. My heart burst with embarrassment to hear that. After all, I made my music and it satisfied Yang, which could be released as the new album.” said the 22-year-old star.
Seungri said the album is eventually Big Bang’s music although he participated in composing and writing words for all the six songs in it. He explained the reason why he said so is because he spent eight years listening to Big Bang’s songs and influence a lot from it, wishing to put the outcome in his upcoming album
He ended his post showing his proud to be the youngest member of Big Bang and firm determination to make bigger improvement through the album for his proud bandmates, the staff, the fans and himself.
The artist released a teaser photo and the track list for “LET’S TALK ABOUT LOVE” yesterday and released an additional photo today. The album will be available online next Monday and the hard copies will hit the shelves two days later.
