Korean actress Ha Ji-won has made a contract with one of the largest talent agencies in the world.
Ha Ji-won has become the first Korean celebrity to singed a contract with Hollywood’s talent and literary agency United Talent Agency (UTA), an official with the actress’ agency Haewadal Entertainment told TenAsia over the phone today.
UTA showed great interest in Ha and had several meetings before making the contract last week, the official explained still in surprise.
UTA is the agency for world-famous actors Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford, Anthony Hopkins, Ewan McGregor, Nicholas Hoult, Gwyneth Paltrow, Daniel Radcliffe, Uma Thurman and singer Celine Dion.
In the meantime, the actress recently founded her own management firm Haewadal Entertainment after the contract was over in July with her previous agency Wellmade StarM Entertainment.
She is set to take the lead role in upcoming MBC historical drama tentatively titled “Flower Battle,” which is set to premier in October as the follow-up to “Goddess of Fire.”
