Rookie singer Kang Seung-yoon will release a new tune today in fifteen days of his debut.

The rock singer is to drop his new song “Heartthrob” (translated title) and its new music video today at noon in Korea time, his agency YG Entertainment said through a press release Wednesday.

In the new music video of tender love song, Kang will play his first-ever kiss scene with rookie actress Yoon Ji-ni of SBS hit series “Gentlemen’s Dignity.”

YG added that they’re considering promoting Kang’s new tune since the major agency’s self-produced reality show “WHO IS NEXT?” (WIN), set to decide YG’s next rookie boy band, is soon to hit the air.

Kang is included as a member of one of the two teams competing for their time to shine. For the time being, Kang will focus on his act until a decision between team A and B are made through “WIN.”

Rolling out the chart-topping tune “It Rains,” the audition-born star made his debut with hard rock ballad “WILD&YOUNG” on July 31 after three years’ training under YG Entertainment, set to drop the first mini-album next month.
