K-pop boy band Big Bang’s youngest member Seungri celebrated his group’s seventh debut anniversary.
Seungri uploaded a poster celebrating the group’s seventh debut anniversary along with a short message on that through his Facebook page on Monday 12 a.m., KST.
“August 19, 2013. Today is Big Bang’s 7th debut anniversary. For seven years, there were a lot that we went through but those are what made who we are today. I couldn’t sleep to saw how I thank all of our fans for being with us and how I love you,” Seungri wrote in a thankful heart.
He went on to show his heart that, “Before I wrote this, I talked to our members on the phone and we shared our celebration together…. On behalf of Big Bang and as the youngest member, I wanted to tell you about how we felt. Today will be a very meaningful release day for my new tunes.”
Big Bang made a debut in 2006 with their first single album “Bigbang” and climbed up to become one of K-pop’s leading groups with a slew of hits including “Last Farewell,” “Lie,” “Tonight,” “Blue,” “Bad Boy,” “Fantastic Baby” and most recently, “Monster.”
The group’s first continent-hopping world tour “BIGBANG ALIVE GALAXY WORLD TOUR” started last March until this January, stopping by 24 cities in 24 countries and performing 48 concerts in total.
The group is also set to take off on their six-dome tour in Japan from November until January of next year, making them a first-ever foreign artist to do so.
In the meantime, Seungri has released the music video for his title single “GOTTA TALK TO YOU” and his mini-album “LET’S TALK ABOUT LOVE” online on Monday noon KST, while the album will hit the shelves two days later.
