Korean boy groups VIXX and Boys Republic will participate in a charity campaign for visually impaired people in Vietnam.

The two groups have been chosen as the honorary ambassadors for SBS MTV and Standard Chartered’s charity campaign “Eye Camp Expedition,“ Boys Republic’s agency Universal Music Korea said through a press release on Monday.

“Eye Camp Expedition,“ a part of the global bank’s social contribution program ”Seeing is Believing.“ will contain eyesight recovery operation, building habitats for people in needs, installing drinking water storage tanks and other charity works in Vietnam.

“We didn’t have opportunity to repay all the love from fans all over the world.  With this opportunity, we will do our best to give love and care to people in need around us.” ViXX members revealed their firm will to join the good deed.

50 of college volunteers will be staying in Viatnam doing volunteer works in mid November, while the two groups will also be joining the volunteer team, which will aired through SBS MTV.
