News of Korean idols having appeared in Korea’a city of Cheongju yesterday heated up the Internet and social networking services.

One of Korea’s most beloved variety programs “Running Man” filmed on Monday with seven idol groups including 2PM, BEAST, SISTAR, INFINITE, MBLAQ, APINK and Girl’s Day, an official with each of the groups’ agencies told TenAsia on Tuesday.

Two members from each group participated in the show and they teamed up with one of Running Man’s seven cast members.

The idols that took part in the program include Chansung and Wooyoung from 2PM, Yoon Dujun and Lee Gikwang from BEAST, Hyolyn and Dasom from SISTAR, Sung Kyu ans L from INFINITE, Joon and Seung Ho from MBLAQ, Jeong Eunji ans Son Naeun from APINK, and Minah and Yura from Girl’s Day.

Their episode will air over Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving holiday in September, according to an official with SISTAR’s entertainment Starship Entertainment.
