Actor Joo Won’s medical drama “Good Doctor” kept its top place on Monday and Tuesday prime time TV charts for the fourth consecutive week.
The series was crowned the most-watched Monday and Tuesday prime time drama by drawing in an average viewership rating of 17.9 percent on August 26 and 27, AGB Nielsen Media Research (Nielsen Korea) showed on Wednesday.
Starring actors Joo Won, Joo Sang-uk and actress Moon Chae-won, the drama showed Joo Won getting kicked out from the hospital from getting into trouble but returning to the hospital again.
“Golden Empire” nabbed the runner-up spot nabbing with an average mark of 11.3 percent. Starring actor Ko Soo and actress Lee Yo-won, the series shows a family’s struggle for money and power for 20 years since the ’90s.
The bottom place on the chart went to Moon Geun-young‘s historical drama “Goddess of Fire” after recording an average mark of 9.35 percent. The series once took the top spot for five week straight but is now struggling at the bottom.
Meanwhile, TNmS’s (Total National Multimedia Statistic) survey showed the programs in a same order for the same time slot. “Good Doctor” took the top spot with an average score of 17.35 percent, while “Golden Empire” and “Goddess of Fire” followed with average ratings of 8.5 and 8.0 percent, respectively.
