KBS’s series “Good Doctor” has continued its winning streak atop Monday and Tuesday TV charts for five weeks running.
The medical drama sat atop AGB Nielsen Media Research’s (Nielsen Korea) chart again this week after attracting an average viewership rating of 17.9 percent on September 2 and 3, the same as last week’s score, the survey showed on Wednesday.
The Joo Won and Moon Chae-won starrer, which just passed its halfway point of its 20-part series, is getting more and more interesting as other doctors at the pediatric ward open their hearts and are ready to accept Sion (Joo) with autism as their colleague.
With a big gap between the No. 1 drama, SBS’s “Golden Empire” kept locked in its runner-up place with an average mark of 11.0 percent in the same time frame.
MBC’s period-set drama “Goddess of Fire,” starring Moon Geun-young and Lee Sang-yoon, kept its bottom place after posting an average rating of 8.7 percent, which is 0.6 percentage points down from last week’s score.
In the meantime, TNmS’s (Total National Multimedia Statistic) data showed the three dramas in a different order.
While “Good Doctor” grabbed the top seed with average ratings of 17.7 percent, “Goddess of Fire” and “Golden Empire” followed with average scores of 8.1 and 7.3, respectively.
