A-list Hallyu stars and K-pop acts will come together at this year’s big celebration of TV dramas around the world.
K-pop groups JYJ’s Kim Jae-joong, 2PM’s Junho, miss A’s Suzy, actors Lee Joon-gi and Jang Hyuk will attend the award ceremony of the Seoul Drama Awards 2013, being held at the National Theater of Korea in Seoul on Thursday at 5:10 p.m. KST, an official with the award told TenAsia the same day.
While Kim Jae-joong, who won the Outstanding Korean OST award, will sing his mesmerizing original soundtrack “Living Like A Dream” for MBC’s series “Dr. Jin,” Junho will appear as a presenter, both of whom will strut the red carpet around 4 p.m. today.
Suzy, the host of tonight’s ceremony and also the winner of the award for Outstanding Korean Actress, will first step onto the red carpet with co-host and actor Lee Sung-jae.
Other Korean TV stars to draw screams from fans on site are Lee Joon-gi, the winner of the Outstanding Korean Actor award, and Jang Hyuk, Kim So-hyun, Lee Yu-bi, Son Hyun-joo, Park Seo-joon, Lee Moon-sik, Kang Dong-ho, Ryu Seung-soo and Kim Yoon-jin.
K-pop singers 4minute, 2EYES and K.Will will also join the pre-ceremony event and heat up the mood with their performances during the ceremony. Hip-hop quartet M.I.B, girl group KARA and boy band B.A.P will also give their performances.
Aired live on MBC, the annual festivity of TV talents around the world will be carried to overseas drama fans in 120 countries through Korean portal website Daum, live online streaming service Ustream and YouTube.
