Actor Joo Won’s medical drama “Good Doctor” has grabbed the biggest number of audiences in its sixth week of airing.
The series kept its top place on the Monday and Tuesday prime time TV charts for six weeks straight by drawing an average mark of 18.85 percent, the series’ best ratings record ever, on September 9 and 10, AGB Nielsen Media Research (Nielsen Korea) showed on Wednesday.
In this week’s episodes, Park Sion (Joo Won) finally confessed his love to his colleague and guardian angel Cha Yoon-seo (Moon Chae-won), which was a big driving force to its highest-ever viewership.
SBS’s drama “Golden Empire” grasped the runner-up spot after nabbing an average mark of 11 percent. Starring actor Ko Soo and actress Lee Yo-won, the series only have one week left to end its story about the decade-long battle of money and success.
The bottom place of the chart went to Moon Geun-young‘s period-set drama “Goddess of Fire,” which drew in an average mark of only 8.15 percent.
Meanwhile, TNmS’s (Total National Multimedia Statistic) survey showed the three programs in a different order.
“Good Doctor” took the top spot with an average score of 14.15 percent, but “Goddess of Fire” took the second spot and “Golden Empire” followed next, each with average ratings of 7.9 and 7.4 percent, respectively.
