Korean singers-and-actors Kim Hyung-jun and SISTAR member Dasom have been cast in a new TV series.
Kim and Dasom will pair up in KBS’s upcoming daily series “Love Comes on the Song” (translated title), an official with the broadcaster told TenAsia over the phone Wednesday.
Kim will be playing a male sub-character Tae Kyung, a musical director with gentle and careful mind, while Dasom will take on a female leading role as a would-be musical actress Deul Im.
The drama centers on three families whose members learn to appreciate their family and regret their misbehaves. The series will start its run in November after current daily series “A Tale of Two Sisters” end its story.
The actors have showed their acting skills in their previous series. Kim took part in MBC’s recent weekend series “Pots of Gold” and Dasom participated in KBS’s daily sitcom “Family” (translated title), which closed its curtains early this year.
