Another K-pop star couple has been born.
K-pop group T-ara member Soyeon and singer Oh Jong-hyuk, former idol band Click-B’s member, have been dating each other for over three years, an official with T-ara’s agency Core Contents Media told TenAsia on Thursday.
The romantic relationship started when Soyeon introduced herself as a fan of Click-B on KBS’s variety program “Star Golden Bell” in 2010. They then could meet each other on MBC’s variety show “Bouquet” (translated title) later that year, which became the linking point of the two, the official explained.
During the three years of relationship, Oh has served his mandatory military service from April 2011 to February 2013 in the Marine Cops. Soyeon has waited for Oh and visited his corps time to time, the official added.
Soyeon broke into the music scene in 2009 as member of T-ara. The group have continuously rolled out records since, including hit sons “Roly-Poly” and “Lovey-Dovey.”
Oh debuted in 1999 as member of idol rock band Click-B, best known for their tunes “Dreaming,” “Cow Boy” and “To Be Continued.” He made his solo debut in 2006 with new stage name OJ and dropped two full-length records.
