K-pop boy group BEAST member Yong Jun-hyung has lend his rap skills for K-pop star Kim Jae-joong’s upcoming release.
Yong Jun-hyung and balladeer Ha Dong-kyun have participated in Kim’s upcoming first studio album “WWW: Who, When, Why,” set to be out on October 29, Kim’s agency C-Jes Entertainment said on Friday.
The BEAST’s main rapper has lend his talent in rap featuring of soft rock tune “Don’t Walk Away,” the trendy rock which will showcase Yong’s characteristic rapping and Kim’s refreshing voice.
The two stars have been close to each other. In April, Kim treated filming crew and cast members of tvN’s music drama “Monstar,” the drama Yong first took on the leading role.
Ha Dong-kyun sung duet with Kim in pop punk song “Luvholic,” the fast-beat tune featuring the two vocalists’ cool voices. Kim’s fierce and fascinating voice created the best synergy effect with Ha’s low-tone and powerful vocal, C-Jes explained.
On Thursday, Kim confirmed to release another pre-released rock tune “Butterfly” next Wednesday, eight days after his first pre-release ballad “One Sunny Day,” the duet tune with Lee Sang-gon of vocal group Noel, swept real-time music charts as soon as its release.
Kim will continue his music activities with the second 2013 concert tour, dubbed “2013 Kim Jae Joong 1st Album Asia Tour Concert,” to be held in Seoul on November 2 and 3 then hit Japan’s Yokohama Stadium less than two weeks time.
