Korean actress Park Se-young, heroin of KBS’s hit daily drama “A Tale of Two Sisters,” is making a debut to the big screen.
Park has been cast as the female lead of romance movie, whose title is translated into “Cat Funeral” and set to crank in next month, her agency S.A.L.T Entertainment said in a press release Wednesday.
Based on a popular web cartoon of the same name, “Cat Funeral” will focus on a two days and one night journey of a broken-up couple who reunite to hold a funeral for a cat they had raised together a year ago.
“We cast her in that Park’s innocent image and eccentric look in her eyes is a perfect match to her character Jae-hee,” an official with the movie’s producing firm Octopus Pictures was quoted as saying.
Park, 24, made a debut through SBS 2011 series “When Tomorrow Comes,” cementing her filmography with TV hits “Man on the Equator,” “Love Rain,” “The Faith” and “School 2013” last year.
