K-pop artist Kim Jae-joong of group JYJ has scooped up noticeable success overseas with his new release..
“Just Another Girl,” Kim’s newest title tune to his first studio album “WWW: Who, When, Why” dropped on Tuesday, soared up to No. 1 in iTunes All Genres Chart in nine countries including Japan and Singapore, his agency C-Jes Entertainment said on Wednesday.
The nine countries where Kim proved his popularity are Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Barbados, while he also ranked high on iTunes Rock Album Charts of Finland, Mexico and Israel.
“The 13-track album has a high degree of completion. Especially ‘Just Another Girl’ has popular melody combined with Kim’s powerful rock voice, which invites nice response toward the song,” an official with C-Jes Entertainment was quoted as saying.
Kim will continue his musical activities with the second 2013 concert tour, dubbed “2013 Kim Jae Joong 1st Album Asia Tour Concert,” to be held in Seoul this weekend then hit Japan’s Yokohama Stadium less than two weeks time.
